PS-S Children's Programs

“Cool Kids” Back-to-School Clothing Program
Participants’ children receive gift cards for new school clothing through the generosity of PS-S donors.

Established in 2000, the PS-S "Cool Kids" Back-to-School Clothing Program gives kids from K-12th grade the opportunity to purchase brand new clothes to start the new school year out right. LEARN MORE about the program or DONATE NOW.

The Boundless Children's Fund
Children of Project Self-Sufficiency participants receive the financial support needed to enroll in music lessons, sports, and other activities that encourage healthy development, personal success, delinquency prevention and help break the cycle of poverty.

“Kid Power” Class
Many of the children and adults enrolled in PS-S have experienced domestic violence and third party abuse. This workshop teaches young children to protect themselves from abuse and exploitation by adults and other children.

Holiday Assistance
PS-S holiday programs assist families with toys, food, and clothing.  Under-the-tree gifts are provided as well as a holiday party for all the families. This program lifts the spirits of adults and children alike and often prevents parents from running up bills over the holidays. Approximately 120 families benefit.
